  • Condition: Good condition. Masts seem a little smaller than the masts depicted on the Katori by other manufacturers. Whether this was on purpose or the tips of masts have been broken off can not tell as there is no sign of an evident break

    1/1200 scale Japanese Light Cruiser by Superior Models
    The ship is the Light Cruiser Katori (1940), model no. 402J.
    The model is a waterline model built to a 1/1200 scale by Superior Models.  The model is approx. 4 ½ inches (11.4 cm) long.  The date after the ship’s name represents the “as depicted date” of the vessel.
    Ship is lead cast.  The model is pre-owned (from the 70s-80s) but in good condition – see photographs.  Only issue is that it looks like the tops of the masts have been clip or broken off. Do not have the original box.
